Add the fractions on the left side. Common denominator is 30.

Multiply both sides by 30.
Divide both sides by 31.

2)Solve for R Divide both sides by (r1+r2)

3) Solve for x. Divide both sides by b.
Separate the right side into 2 terms.
Add 3c to both sides.
Subtract from both sides.
Factor the x from the left side.
Simplify both sides then divide both sides by
= Cancel the b's
Restriction: aq may not = 5bp
4) Solve Add 4c to both sides.
Subtract ax/5 from both sides.
Multiply both sides by 5.
Divide both sides by 2a and simplify.
Restriction: a cannot = 0
