You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A=1/2h(B+b)
I need to solve for b,
:
Get rid of the fraction, multiply equation by 2, you then have:
h(B + b) = 2A
:
Divide both sides by h, and you have:
B + b = 2A%2Fh
:
Subtract B from both sides:
b = 2A%2Fh - B

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Rule: Whatevery you do to one side you have to do to the other.
--------------
A=1/2h(B+b)
Multiply both sides by 2 to get:
2A = h(B+b)
Divide both sides by h to get:
2A/h = B+b
Subtract B from both sides to get:
b = [2A/h]-B
