Question 81415: Can you help me solve please?
x/x-3+2=3/x-3 I don't see a solution but i am not sure

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Can you help me solve please?
x/(x-3) + 2 = 3/(x-3)
Multiply thru by (x-3) to get:
x + 2(x-3) = 3
x + 2x -6 = 3
3x=9
x=3
But x cannot be 3 because the original problem has x-3 in the denominator
and letting x=3 would cause the denoinator to be zero.
So, no solution for your problem.
