Substitute the second equation into the first equation and solve for C.
Simplify and solve for C. Subtract (2/3)C from both sides.
Multiply both sides by multiplicative inverse of 1/3, or 3.

The trapeze artist weighs (2/3)C = (2/3)180 lbs = 120 lbs.
