Ok, an integer is even if it is divisible by 2 with no remainder.
Let x = the 1st even integer.
x + 2 = the next consecutive even integer.
x + 4 = the third consecutive even integer,
The sum of these = -24.
x+%2B+x%2B2+%2B+x%2B4+=+-24 sIMPLIFY AND SOLVE FOR X:
3X+%2B+6+=+-24 Subtract 6 from both sides.
3x+=+-30 Divide both sides by 3:
x+=+-10
x = -10
x + 2 = -8
x + 4 = -6
