4x-3y=16

Answer by checkley79(3341)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x+2y=-5 MULTIPLY BY 3
4x-3y=16 MULTIPLY BY 2 & ADD.
9X+6Y=-15
8X-6Y=32
----------------
X=17/17
17X=17
X=1 ANS.
3*1+2Y=-5
3+2Y=-5
2Y=-5-3
2Y=-8
Y=-8/2
Y=-4 ANS.
PROOF:
4*1-3*-4=16
4+12=16
16=16
