Question 719285: graphing, substitution, elimination
3 x + 2y= 12
3 x + 2y= 6
Helpppppppppppppppp pleaseeeeeeee explain so i can understand this.thanks

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3 x + 2y= 12
3 x + 2y= 6
-----
That is obviously a contradiction.
There is no solution.
----
If you graph the two equation you will get parallel lines.
----
If you apply elimination to solve the system you will get 0 = 6,
which is a contradiction.
