Question 702918: with the expression: 4-6b-8-3b, I understand the inverse process of making this an addition problem [4+(-6b)+(-8)+(-3b)] I know to group the variables, but the end of the process of simplifying is -4-9b. I don't understand how -4+(-9b) becomes -4-9b
