Elimination Method
start by putting both in standard form
5x-y=-23
-5x+2y=21 add both equations together
0x+y=-2
now that you have y, plug it into either equation to find x
5x-(-2)=-23
5x+2=-23 add -2 to both sides
5x=-25 divide by 5
