Question 676498: how to use elimination when your equations are
14r+11r=59
11r+14r=41

Answer by fcabanski(1391)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since the only variable is r, this is not a system of equations and elimination is not required to solve them.

14r + 11r = 59 ---> 25r = 59 ---> r = 59/25.

11r + 14r = 41 ---> 25r = 41 ---> r= 41/25
