Question 66625: what is the difference and similarities
if solving an equation with varibles in the equation if it had 1 or 2 or even 3 variables?
Answer by Poohbear272(22) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The comparisons of equations with one and two variables have similarities because you have an unknown number, which you would need to use algebraic formulas by either multiplying, dividing, adding, or subtracting to get the unknown number. They are different in the ways in which they are treated to get the unknown number. The only difference between them is the techniques and the ways in which you acheive the solution for your equation.
What if you had three variables:
Therefore, the general rule is:
To find one variable you need one equation
To find two variables you need two equations
To find three variables you need three equations
To find n variables you need n equations
