Subtract 2n from both sides; Subtract 12 from both sides.
3n=-12
Divide both sides by 3 to get:
n=-4

6(x+3)+3x=3(x-2)
6x+18+3x=3x-6
9x+18=3x-6
6x=-24
x=-4
