35% off make the price of the book equal to 22.95 - .35*22.95 which is equal to 22.95 - 8.0325 which is equal to 14.9175
6% sales tax on 14.9175 is equal to 14.9175 + .06*14.9175 which is equal to 14.9175 + .89505 which is equal to 15.81255
the final price for the book is equal to $15.81 rounded to the nearest penny.
