Question 6159: My question says to solve the system of inequalities by graphing... and i have 10 questions on this, and no idea how to do it...So could you show me one?
y
y>-x+5
On other questions there are lines under some of the <,> signs... what does this mean, and how does this change the problem? Thanks
Answer by sslitten(5) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hello there,
I do not know how to create a graph for you on this site - I'm sorry, maybe someone else can help you with that. However, I did want to answer your question concerning the lines that sometimes appear under the < and > symbols.
If a line appears under a < or > symbol, it means equal to. For example:
x > 7 (with a line appearing under the > symbol) would mean x is greater than or equal to 7.
Just the opposite, x < 7 (with a line appearing under the < symbol) would mean x is less than or equal to 7.
Take care!
Sarah
