Ht of the trapezoid = 16m
One base = 20m
Area of the trapezoid = 224m^2
We know A = 1/2 (h)(B+b)
==> 224 = 1/2 (16)(B+20)
==> 224 = 8(B+20)
==> 28 = B+20 [Dividing both the sides by 8]
==> 8 = B [Adding -20 to both the sides]
So the length of the other base = 8 m
