You can put this solution on YOUR website!
When a number of units are sold, the price of each unit (in dollars) is given by
P(x)= -x/2+75. Find the unit price when the following quantities are sold:2,7,9,11.
-----------
P(2)= -2/2 + 75 = $74
P(7)= -7/2 + 75 = $71.5
P(9)= -9/2 + 75 = $70.5
P(11)= -11/2 + 75 = $69.5

Substitute x=2,7,9,11 into the problem and solve for p like so:
P=-x%2F2%2B75
When x=2
p=-2%2F2%2B75
p=-1%2B75
p=$74
When x=7
p=-7%2F2%2B75
p=-7%2F2%2B150%2F2
p=%28-7%2B150%29%2F2
p=143%2F2
p=$71.50
When x=9
p=-9%2F2%2B75
p=-9%2F2%2B150%2F2
p=%28-9%2B150%29%2F2
p=141%2F2
p=$70.50
When x=11
p=-11%2F2%2B75
p=-11%2F2%2B150%2F2
p=%28-11%2B150%29%2F2
p=139%2F2
p=$69.50
