Hello,
Multiply both sides by 10(2n+6)to get:
-7(2n+6)= 10(3n-2)
Expand this out to:
-14n-42=30n-20
Simplify to:
44n=-22
Divide by 44 to get:
n=-22/44 or -1/2
Plug in the answer back into the original equation and it will work out.
Make sense?
