a number raised to the third power multiplied by 125 is equal to 1/8 . what is the number?
.
Let x = the number
then
(x^3)(125) = 1/8
x^3 = 1/(8*125)
x^3 = 1/(1000)
x^3 = 1/(10*10*10)
take cube root of both sides:
x = 1/10
