Question 451386: please help me solve: 20=5(-3+x)
Answer by solver15(27)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
since your equation is 20=5(-3+x)
all you have to do is multiply5 5 to (-3+x)

20=5(-3+x)
20= -15+5x
and then add 15 to both sides of the equation
20=-15+5x
+15 +15
so -15 and 15 is now eliminated
now you are left with
35=5x and then divide
35/5=5x/5
7=x and that is your answer.:)
