Hello,
Let's have x be the length of side. We can set up the following equation.
x+x+1/2(x)=315
Combine like terms.
5/2 x=315
Multiply both sides by 2/5 to get:
x=126
There we go, the equal sides are 126 cm and the 3rd side 63 cm.
Make sense?
