My work so far:
1-.1y>.2 Then subtract 1 from each side
-.1y>.8
Multiply each side by 10
And I got -y>-8 <--that's the answer I think.
CHECK:
1-.1(9)>.2
1-.9>.2
= .1>.20 Is this right??? Please help me! Thanks! :)

You have a couple of missteps here.
First, a general comment. NEVER, EVER subtract or divide. Always add or multiply. Watch:
ADD 
to both sides:
\ +\ 1\ -\ .1y\ >\ .2\ +\ (-1))
(Looks uglier, but doing it this way keeps you from making sign errors)
You next multiplied both sides by 10. Close but no cigar. You also need to get rid of the minus sign in front of the 
, so multiply by 
. The only thing is that, since you are working with an inequality, you have to reverse the sense of the inequality when you multiply by a negative number, so:
Check:
\ >\ .2)
True
\ >\ .2)
False
So answer checks.
