PROBLEM DOES NOT COMPUTE:
IF all the $6 hats were sold the total sales would be 6*40=$240
No combination of $6 & $4 hats would result in $336 sales.
PROOF:
6x+4(40-x)=336
6x+160-4x=336
2x=336-160
2x=176
X=176/2
X=88 number of $6 hats which exceeds the total of 40 hats sold.
