3(-2-3x)=-9x-4
-6-9x=-9x-4

Add +9x to each side:
-6-9x+9x=-9x+9x-4
-6=-4

This is probably what you got, right?? The question is "How do you solve for x if there aren't any x's left in the equation?" The answer is that if there are no x's in the equation, it is either ALWAYS TRUE or it's ALWAYS FALSE!

If it's ALWAYS TRUE, then it is an IDENTITY, and the solution is ALL VALUES OF X.

If it's ALWAYS FALSE, then it is a CONTRADICTION, and there is NO SOLUTION.

This is NO SOLUTION!!
