Foil method. I dont understand how to do th foil method. How do I solve this?
(3c+4d) (2c-4d)
---
F: (3c)(2c) = 6c^2
O: (3c)(-4d) = -12cd
I: (4d)(2c) = 8cd
L: (4d)(-4d) = -16d^2
------------------------
Combine "like" terms to get:
---
= 6c^2 -4cd - 16d^2
