I bought a furniture set for 1600 in the month of april and just recently saw an add for the same set on sale for 20%off. Had I waited a couple of months to purchase it how much would I have saved?

1600 - .20(1600) = 1600-320 = $1280
You would have saved $320 (you would save more if you consider the taxes)
