plug in the second equation for y
distribute the 2 watch your signs!!

We know this to be a true statement, but does not answer what the point of intersection is, so let's look at the first equation again.
all numbers are divisable by 2 ... lets divide.
But that is the second equation. So that means that they are in fact the exact same line, and have an infinite number of solutions.
