Question 29272: Please, I have tried this one several times. Solve the equation . I began by multiplying both sides by 4 over 1, is this where I should have started? Thank You, Bugee62
Answer by atif.muhammad(135)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Equate both sides (make both of their denominators, 8)
One side already has a denominator of 8 so we only need to multiply the left hand side by 2 to make its denominator 8 as well
As we have common denominators, we can get rid of them now, they don't matter, our equation is balanced
