Question 283176: Evaluate the expression: 4x^2 – 2x ; for x = - 3

Answer by richwmiller(17219)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4x^2 – 2x
for every x plug in (-3)
4*(-3)^2-2*(-3)
now work them out separately
break them down into easy parts
what is (-3)^2
(-3)^2 means (-3)*(-3) ?
what is 2*(-3)
