Question 28009: HELP! SHOW ME HOW
5(2X-3)+8=9
Answer by longjonsilver(2297) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5(2x-3)+8=9
subtract 8 from both sides:
5(2x-3)=1
multiply out the bracket:
10x-15=1
add 15 to both sides:
10x = 16
divide both sides by 10
x = 16/10
--> x = 1.6
