Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
could you please help me solve
a=(1/2)h(a+b) for a?
-----
Multiply both sides by 2:
2a = h(a+b)
2a = ha + hb
2a-ha = hb
a(2-h) = hb
a = (hb)/(2-h)
