Question 258941: The questions ask me to solve each system by substitution
y= 6x-11
-2x-3y=-7
Answer by mathbath(13) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = 6x - 11 ---> (1)
-2x - 3y = -7 ---> (2)
Substituting the value of y from (1) to equation (2)
-2x - 3(6x - 11) = -7
-2x -3(6x) -3(-11) = -7
-2x -18x + 33 = -7
-20x = -7 - 33
-20x = -40
x = -40/-20
x = 2
