Seven years from now, Marivie will be thrice as old as Fe.
Find their present ages.
:
Let x = Fe's age
then
(x+20) = Marv's age
:
In 7 yrs
(x+20) + 7 = 3(x + 7)
:
x + 27 = 3x + 21
:
27 - 21 = 3x - x
:
6 = 2x
:
x = 3 yrs is Fe's age
and
3 + 20 = 23 yrs is Marv's age
