3x+7y=33
x=15-3y replace x in the first equation with(14-3y) & solve for y.
3(15-3y)+7y=33
45-9y+7y=33
-2y=33-45
-2y=-12
y=-12/-2
y=6 ans.
x=15-3*6
x=15-18
x=-3 ans.
Proof:
3*-3+7*6=33
-9+42=33
33=33
