(4n+5)x5=-n-24
Is that 5x outside the parenthesis or *5?
I'm assuming it is *5, if so;
(4n+5)*5=-n-24
distribute the 5;
20n+25=-n-24
add n tto both sides;
20n+25+n=-24
subtract 25 to both sides;
21n=-24-25
21n=-49
divide each side by 21;
n=
n=
=)
