Let's expand this out so it looks like this.
2x - 28 + 3x - 4x + 36 = 10x + 8
Combine like terms.
x + 8 = 10x + 8
Subtract 8 from both sides.
x = 10x
Subtract x from both sides.
0 = 9x
Divide both sides by 9

So the answer is: x = 0
You can check to see if this is right by putting 0 in for all the x's in the original equation.
