Question 222422: what is four times the sum of a number and five increased by a different number

Answer by rapaljer(4671)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let x = the first number.
Let y = the different number.

4(x+5) + y
4x+ 20 +y or 4x+y+20

By the way, this is NOT an equation, and you can't solve this unless you know something more about the numbers.

R^2
