Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5=5x+27
You didn't say what you want to do.
I'll solve for x.
5=5x+27
Subtract 27 from both sides.
-22 = 5x
Divide both sides by 5
x = -22/5 = -4.4
