Question 22099: how would i solve 7y=-14x+42
7y=14x+14

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Add the two equations to get:
14y = 56
y = 4
Put this value of "y" into the 1st equation as follows
7(4) = -14x+42
Solve for "x"
To check your answer substitute your values for "x" and "y"
into the 2nd equation.

Stan H.
