Please help me solve this problem:
x=1/8y-1
y=1/4x+3

Rewrite:
y = 8x + 8
y = (1/4)x + 3
-------------------
Substitute to get:
8x + 8 = (1/4)x + 3
(31/4)x = - 5
x = -20/31
----------------
Substitute to solve for "y":
y = (1/4)(-20/31) + 3
y = -5/31 + 93/31
y = 88/31
