Discriminant: b^2-4ac
D = 2^2 - 4*-1*-1 = 4 - 4 = 0
--------------
Since D = 0 there are two x-intercepts, but they are both the same.

Since a < 0 the parabola opens down.
The vertex is on the x-axis:
