Answer by Mathtut(3670)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let the number of 5 point and 2 point problems be f and t respectively
:
f+t=29.....eq 1
5f+2t=100..eq 2
:
rewrite eq 1 to f=29-t and plug f's value into eq 2
:
5(29-t)+2t=100
:
145-5t+2t=100
:
-3t=-45
:
number of two point problems
:
number of five point problems
