Question 16937: Please Help: 9(11-k)=3(3k-9) The answer is 10 i think and im not sure how to get there. Thank you!
Answer by venugopalramana(3286) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
9(11-k)=3(3k-9)
9*11-9k=3*3k-3*9
99-9k=9k-27
9k-27=99-9k
9k+9k=99+27
18k=126
k=126/18=7
k=7...verification ..substitute k=7 in 9(11-k)=3(3k-9)
9(11-7)=9*4=36=3(3*7-9)=3(21-9)=3*12=36....ok.
