let the numbers be x and y
x-y=12

2/5x=6+1/3y
2/5x=(18+1/3)y
2/5x=19/3y
6/5x=19y
6x=105y
2x=35y
x=35/2 y

35/2y-y=12
35-2y=24
33y=24
y=24/33
y=8/11

x=35/2y
x=35/2*8/11
x=140/11

x=140/11 and y=8/11
