Question 16286: Anna is twice as old as her brother Dennis, who is 4 years older than their brother Curtis. The sum of their ages is 32. How old is Anna?
We need the equation not the number answer.
Thank you.
Answer by pwac(253) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let Curtis=x
Dennis is x+4
Anna is 2 times (x+4)=2(x+4)
So the equation would look like:
x+x+4+2(x+4)=32
x+(x+4)+2(x+4)=32
