SOLUTION: Solve for "u"
{{{1/u + 5/(u-2) = 4/(u-2)}}}
So far I know I have to find a common denominator so I multiply by "u" or "u-2" and I have 1(u-2)/u(u-2) + 5u/u(u-2)=4u/u(u-2) bu

Question 152602: Solve for "u"
So far I know I have to find a common denominator so I multiply by "u" or "u-2" and I have 1(u-2)/u(u-2) + 5u/u(u-2)=4u/u(u-2) but then I end up with a bunch of u^2 and I am not sure what to do.
Thanks so much

You're definitely on the right track. But you don't even need to leave any denominators when you solve the problem:
Just multiply each side by
