8y-(2y-3)=9
okay...while im not sayin that that persons answer was wrong...i just got a nother answer....
i subtracted 2 from 8 and that left me with 6y...then i added 3 to the nine
then my problem was 6y=12
so i divided both sides by 6 and it left me with 2 so x=2
----------------------------------------
i also checked my work i said....8*2-2*2-3 and i got the answer 9
