Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x-2)/2- (x+2)/4 = 1/2
Multiply thru by 4 to get:
2(x-2) - (x+2) = 2
2x - 4 -x -2 = 2
x -6 = 2
x = 8
