Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x-3y=1-
3x-4y=5
----------
Multiply 1st by 3 and 2nd by 2 to get:
--------
6x-9y=3
6x-8y=10
---------
Subtract 1st from 2nd to get:
y = 7
-------
Substitute to solve for "x":
2x-3*7 = 1
2x = 22
x = 11
---------
Solution: (11,7)
