x^2-2x-15/x^2+x-6 * x^2-4x-21/x^2-25 Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! (x^2-2x-15)/(x^2+x-6) * (x^2-4x-21)/(x^2-25)
factor where you can:)
= [(x-5)(x+3)/(x+3)(x-2)] * [(x-7)(x+3)/(x-5)(x+5)]
Cancel (x+3) which are common to a numerator and a denominator:
= [(x-5)/(x-2)] * [(x-7)(x+3)/(x-5)(x+5)]
Cancel (x-5) which are common to a numerator and a denominator:
= [1/(x-2)] * [(x-7)(x+3)/(x+5)]
= [(x-7)(x+3)]/[(x-2)(x+5)]
