Question 12304: the perimeter of a triangle is 76cm. side A of the triangle istwo times the length of side B. side C is one cm more than side A. what is the lengths of the sides?
Answer by askmemath(368) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Perimemter = Sum of the 3 sides
Let side B = s
Side A = 2Times B = 2xs = 2s
Side C is 1 more than A = 2s+1
Sum = s+2s+2s+1=76
5s+1=76
5s=75 Subtracting 1 on both sides
s=15
i.e B = 15cms
A= 2x15 = 30cms
C = 30+1 = 31cms
